Apache rebuilds on Dec. 30, 2009
Dear JS customers,
On Dec. 30, 2009, there were 2 brief moments when the Apache web server was unavailable. They lasted about 5 to 10 minutes each. The downtime was due to our recompiling Apache to update some of its features. This was done in an effort to resolve a problem with one of our client's websites. We normally reserve such rebuilds for a time of day where we can minimize any noticeable impact but that option was not available yesterday. All other services remained unaffected. We thank you for your understanding.
